Biochrom Anthos
Microplate Readers and Plate Washers

The Anthos brand of microtitre plate readers and washers are commonly used in the life science and diagnostic markets. Microtitre plate readers are essential laboratory tools for absorbance as well as being extensively used for ELISA tests. The Anthos Readers offer a wide variety of combinations, including plate sizes from 6 to 384 well, as well as standalone instruments or full PC control versions.

The Biochrom Fluido2 provides up to 4 different wash channels, vacuum and pressure free system, easy plate sets 96 and 384. The unit allows automatic wall depth detection, 20 different cycles, 50 different procedures and 20 plate formats.

Technically Enhanced Electrophoresis Systems

Vapour Phase Liquid Nitrogen Storage Vessels
Designed to meet the changing requirements of the biological storage industry, Custom BioGenic Systems have developed a true vapour phase liquid nitrogen storage system. Using a patented LN₂ jacket, the samples throughout the entire chamber are held below -190°C without any risk of exposure to the liquid and without any associated cross-contamination risks. This patented system does not have the inherent risks of some traditional forms of vapour phase storage such as large temperature gradients or low security through running minimal LN₂ levels. Standard features on the storage tanks include automatic filling, integrated alarms and communication and software facilities for remote monitoring.

Liquid Phase Liquid Nitrogen Storage and Dewars
CBS have a wide range of dewars from 5 Litres to 50 Litres with manual withdrawal devices for safety. The comprehensive range of vessels for IVF storage and cryosystem for vial storage ensures the safety and security of samples.

Freezer Inventory Racking Systems
Inventory management of your freezers and LN₂ storage systems is made significantly easier with the wide range of storage solutions available from Custom BioGenic Systems. Virtually every sample size and freezer type is catered for by the wide range of racks offered. If there is no option in the standard range, the chances are it can be made for you. A well designed and implemented inventory system can recover significant amounts of lost storage space and can reduce the wear and tear on the freezer and samples as researchers spend less time in the freezer retrieving hard to find product.

Autoclaves and Capsulefuges
The Tomy SX- Series of Autoclaves provides convenient processing of your laboratory sterilisation and media preparation needs. The fully portable unit in three convenient sizes of 30, 50 and 70 Litre offers four cycles of operation ranging from basic sterilising to automatic warming cycles including cooling fans. Just plug in the power cord, add water and you’re ready to go. Items such as a small fermenter or a 25 litre carboy or your media can fit in the unit.
